March 2007
MINISTERS’ CORNER
Enjoy each day of March. It is just like February only longer. So have
fun, love people and yourself. God loves you and so do I. It is a beautiful
springtime. Get out and do things you would not ordinarily do. Start something unusual
for yourself. Bring to the surface the love you have in yourself. Love what you
have. Take a walk on a different path. You’ll be surprised when you meet new
people. March is a time of shaking off winter and taking on spring. Spring is a
time of year when winter starts turning warmer. The grass begins to get
greener, the trees begin to get leaves, and the flower begins to bloom. So what
are you doing? Let the March winds blow. This is your wake up from winter so
enjoy being you.
Love, Rev. Marie
Reverend Marie White
March is here! A very sincere thank you to all who send in love offerings in support of this newsletter ministry. It costs the church about $100 a month for printing and postage. The prayers for new members are working. The past month we have had several new people come in our doors and come back. Thank you God. This month is also planting month. If you have a special flower you would like us to plant send in seeds or a love donation for our flowerbed. The garden angel will be happy to plant them. Rev. Kay is doing the lectures in March. She always has a good message. So come to hear her at the Center. Don’t forget breakfast at 9 am the first Sunday of the month. I will be cooking with my kitchen angels. Come and join us. We will be having an Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday for the children. The children are always welcome at the Center. Please feel free to bring them. Spiritual notes: Know when you pray, you are one with God and with all humanity. With prayer I gain integrity, compassion, creativity and courage. Each day I trust God to lead me on my life’s path. I know with prayer, God’s love will inspire me to right action through the transforming power of God’s grace, I am wise, strong and secure. Love in service, Rev. Ken
Spring is starting
March 21, God’s promise of eternal life. The cycle of life is just like the
seasons of the year. Spring is the beginning of and renewal of life. Summer is
our youth. The flowers in bloom, then comes autumn, colors are still here, but different.
The trees even join in the color parade. We blossom as we mature in age and
wisdom. Our children are starting their families. In them God’s promise
continues. Then comes winter; the trees and plants are not dead, they are
resting. Then comes spring. In our old age, we leave this earthly life and
continue our journey. God’s presence is always with us, as we continue our own
cycle of eternal learning with our Lord God.
We have had quite a winter in the Pacific Northwest. God has blessed us
with rain and snow. There will not be a drought this year. Let us look forward
to each stage of our blessed life. God is always with us. Accept Him in your life. Love, Rev. Kay

Isaiah 58:11 (NIV)
11 The LORD will
guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen
your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters
never fail.

Gabriele Bauer submitted the following:
If the Devil, whom we don't hear much about
today, were to write his Beatitudes, they would possibly go something like
this:
"Blessed are those who are too tired,
too busy,
too distracted to spend an hour once a week with their fellow Christians in
Church ---
they are my best workers.
Blessed are those Christians who wait to be
asked and expect to be thanked -
I can use them.
Blessed are those who gossip – they cause
strife and division, which nourish me.
Blessed are the touchy, with a bit of luck
they may stop going to church ---
they are my missionaries.
Blessed are those who are very religious but
get on everyone's nerves ---
they are mine forever.
Blessed are the troublemakers ---
they shall be called my children.
Blessed are those who have no time to pray
---
they are easy prey for me.
Blessed are the complainers ---
I'm all ears for them.
Blessed are you when you read this and think
it is about other people and not yourself ---
I've got you."
Thank you, Gaby.
Spring Fever
I saw the wind
I felt the breeze
I tasted the air
Light was my world
No worry was mine-
A feather drifting effortly.
I was an eagle
Souring though the blue –
Gliding on a sunbeam
I flew ever so high
Touching a star
I enchanted its world
I grew drowsy
I rested upon a cloud
Lulled asleep by fluffy down
I woke, I lived, the sun was bright
It wamed my heart-
The rays lifted me earthward.
