MINISTERS’ CORNER
Time flies. Here it is almost half over 2007. I haven’t done very much
this year – only age. Last month, I turned 87. WOW I guess I can say our family
lived a long time on this earth. Thank God for a long life here to meet wonderful
people like you. Everywhere I have
gone, I have met great people. My life here has been a very wonderful time. I
can remember back when people cooked whole meals for those that had none. I
don’t see much of that nowadays. Just once in a while do I see food to people
who need it. That is why I know God loves everyone. He provides things for
people that they need. He also provides things they want. Thank him for all
things. We have so much. I see on TV people who have nothing and depend on
others for everything. I see people getting together and giving and collecting
things that people need. It really is a wonderful world I live in. Thank God.
See the best of your world and thank God for it. I intend to live many
wonderful years longer, meet more wonderful people and enjoy each day as the
sun comes up. Enjoy your days each and every one of them. I love you. God bless and love you.

Thanks to all of you who make this ministry possible! We received three donations from our mail angels last month. We will not have to pay for our stamps from the Sunday collections. We mail out about 100 newsletters. The printing costs and stamps are covered because of your generosity. Last month, I had the pleasure giving the lecture for the services. We started with our word, God’s word, the power of words and ended with God’s grace. It was exciting to do this. Our Easter and Rev. Marie’s 87th birthday party was exciting also. Thanks to all of you for flower donations. A very Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and to the single fathers who fill both roles. Know with Guidance from the One with Infinite Wisdom, you will move forward with clarity and direction. When I pray, I join with you and others in a powerful network of faith that works. I am an expression of God’s love in prayer, words and activities when I pray for others and you. Please send in your prayer requests and let us help one another. ”Do not neglect the gift that is in you.” I Timothy 4:14. Love in service, Rev. Ken
To all mothers
everywhere and those who have had the responsibility of a mother, may your
Mother’s Day be blessed! I thank God for my Mom. I think of her most every day.
I still want to pick up the phone and talk to her. She was the woman who molded
me and taught me about God along with my grandmother. I pray your memories are
special about the mother to whom God entrusted you. Rev. Marie’s birthday party
was great. I wish everyone with a birthday in May a very happy birthday –
especially our granddaughter, Amanda-Kay. Our beloved Lhasa Apso, Sassy Pants
is now at the Rainbow Bridge. She brought us so much joy. Keep praying for a
musician to play for our Sunday Services and for a place to call our own. Enjoy
the flowers of springtime, summer is not far away. God bless you. Love, Rev.
Kay

Mother Love
A mother’s smile, -a Mother’s kiss,
Your life can hold no greater bliss,
Each thought a hope, each word a prayer,
She holds you in her loving care.
God sent His spirit from above
And formed it into Mother-love.

To Sassy Pants – We miss you.
As much as I loved the life we had and all the
times we played,
I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade.
I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble-free
Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity.
I saw the most beautiful Rainbow, and on the other side
Were meadows rich and beautiful -- lush and green and wide!
And running through the meadows as far as the eye could see
Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be!
My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new
And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do.
I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I'm all right
That this place is truly wonderful, then a bright Glow pierced the night.
'Twas the Glow of many Candles shining bright and strong and bold
And I knew then that it held your love in its brilliant shades of gold.
For although we may not be together in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord no eye can see.
So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart
If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart.
