MINISTERS CORNER
Summer is going into fall. School days, rule
days and back to school! I used to as a child love to hear that. It meant I was
going back to school and see all my friends again. Of course there were new
ones to meet and get to know. God is so good to us. He blesses us with summer
to get out and go places, fall to get back and see our old friends, and meet
new ones. We can listen to TV and hear about God and let our memories remember
the good things he gave us. In winter, we spend more time remembering. What do
we think about? I stop and recognize the changes that have taken place. People
have moved away and new ones moved in. The streets are being brought up to
better driving conditions. I am fixing in my mind how to get around the easiest
way. There are so many more cars on the road. I ask God to bless every one of
them to be safe. I thank God for my friends old and new. On Sundays, I see all
the people in church listening to the Word of God. Thank you, I love you. Rev.

I
would like to thank you this day for being a part of our lives. I pray that all
is well with you and your loved ones. The Center is doing well. Three new
people are coming to experience the love and knowledge the Center has to share.
I have been asked to do a wedding in the near future. This Sunday, we will be
having another baptism. Our spiritual breakfast on the first Sunday of August
went very well. We had a special Cook angel show up to cook for us. Also, We
would like to thank the clean-up angels who roll up their sleeves every Sunday
and put chairs away and put things away for us. You are greatly appreciated. If
you have access to the Internet, check out our website; at www.c-o-m-e.org and tell a friend. Thank you
to the Coffee News for our free ad – look for us there also. Spiritually
speaking: Nothing is impossible! What a great affirmation! Matthew 21:21 Say
unto this mountain, be thou removed and it shall be done. When I release my anxieties,
doubts and fears to God the Infinite Spirit, the problems dissolve themselves.
Each part of the problem transcends materiality, as my thoughts become one with
God. When I look to the light, it gives me courage and strength. I do this by
looking forward to a glorious new day, as I allow the influx of God’s
expression to renew my thinking and allow me to change my attitude – so I
listen, I obey I do God’s bidding, I rejoice, I am filled with gladness. If you
need healing prayers, please call, write or email us. Your servant, Rev. Ken
It is “Back To School” time
again. No matter how much fun we had during summer vacation, or how many
berries and beans we picked to earn the money for school clothes, I was ready
to go back to school. Our friends and teachers were waiting for us. I really
liked school. There was so much to do and to learn. I am so grateful to have
grown up during the times that I did. There were so many discoveries made.
Would they have happened if someone said, I didn’t do my homework or choose
other ways to avoid learning? I doubt it. It is the same with our relationship
with God. He is the Teacher and we are His students. Learning about spiritual
matters and our relationship to them and God, is our responsibility. But learning
is not enough. We are changing as we learn. We need to keep our minds open to
listen to God as we learn how to put His way of life into action in our lives,
and then do it.
Love, Rev. Kay

Do you need Me? I am there
Do
you need Me? I am there.
You
cannot see Me, yet I am the light you see by
You
cannot hear Me, yet I speak through your voice.
You
cannot feel Me, yet I am the power at work in your hands
I
am at work, though you do not understand My ways.
I
am at work, though you do not recognize My works
I
am not strange visions. I am not mysteries.
Only
in absolute stillness, beyond self,
Can
you know Me as I am,
And
then but as a feeling and a faith.
Yet
I am there. Yet I am here. Yet I answer.
When
you need Me, I am there.
Even
if you deny Me, I am there.
Even
when you feel most alone, I am there.
Even
in your fears, I am there.
Even
in your pain, I am there.
I
am there when you pray and when you do not pray
Though
your faith In Me is unsure,
My
faith in you never wavers,
Because
I know you, because I love you.
Beloved
I am there.

What not to wear at church
A hog farmer decided one morning to attend a church in town. He went into
town in his work clothes smelling remarkably like his hog pen.
The church folks were outraged at the smell. The pastor said to the farmer:
"The next time you come here, ask the Lord what you should
wear." The farmer agreed.
The following Sunday the farmer returned to
the same church ...in his work clothes. The pastor asked: "What did the
Lord say?" The farmer replied, "The Lord said he had never been to
this church and didn't know what to wear."
So much for Snobbery and
Judgment!
