MINISTERS CORNER

The year is almost over and Veteran’s Day and Thanksgiving are upon us. The Center has started the “Fill The Bags” campaign. We will be collecting food for the needy and give Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets. We have been given the promise of 5 fresh Christmas trees. It has been a good year for us and always remember when we share with others, we cannot out-give God. I thank everyone who are attending the Sunday services. We are growing by leaps and bounds. Last month’s Spiritual Breakfast was a huge success. The kitchen angels cooked above and beyond the call of duty. We had a great time with everyone there.  Thank you to those who support this newsletter. We send out almost 100 newsletters and your support makes it possible. If you have anything to share with us, please email, phone or fax (or the old fashioned way) mail the information to us. We would love to share your item or items with others. A special thank you to our grandchildren and the other young people at the Center for all their help and input to the services. The children will be putting on the Christmas entertainment program this year. We are looking forward to it. Last month we enjoyed Halloween and had an old fashioned bobbing for apples. Everyone had a good time. Just for today, I have faith that God is working wonders in my life and in the lives of others. I know that God’s creative power and order is continually unfolding and my live is necessary part of that Order. I take comfort in knowing that there is a Divine Order concerning everything for today and throughout eternity. When I am one with God, I am cleansed in my Spirit and my cares are washed away and my spirit nourished. Through this type of prayer, I become balanced and harmonious and my enthusiasm is a true spiritual experience that enables me to reach and achieve my goals.

Love in service, Rev. Ken

Rev. Ken Leppell

Thanksgiving is almost here! Are we the kind of people others are thankful to know? I have many of those people in my life. They bless me with their caring, understanding and their love. These are my teachers. They represent and show me how the Lord wants me to live. Today, if something is troubling me, I can be sure that someone will show up at the door – many times without me asking. What a blessing! This is the example and level of spirituality I want to reach. To be present and in tune with the people around me, doing what the Lord wants me to do. Love Him above all things and with my whole being and my neighbor as myself. Do you want to be filled with the Joy of the Lord? Then make yourself available –say yes to Love, have the responsibility to reach out and be the person someone says, he or she is a breath of fresh air, and everything is brighter when they enter a room. Be positive and grateful and let your light shine. Then you are that person we are happy to see come to our homes. Blessed by God and sharing your blessings, this is the way to live. I was honored and privileged to baptize Morning Skye Gaylord last month. We welcome her to our family of God. We were treated to special meditation music composed by Andrew Phillips. Ken Feller honored us with special music also. He played both the French horn and the trumpet. Thank you both for sharing your talent with us,

Love, Rev. Kay

POETRY CORNER

Between Worship and Spiritually.

Only through Spiritual Enlightenment will you
Learn the duality of flesh and spirit
How to exist in the flesh, But live in the spirit.
It must be learned through the Heart,
And not the flesh.

Once you have discovered this,
You will discover, it is the Wisdom of Choice,
The choice God has given us in all our
thoughts and actions.

The future is not set,
Your lives and future are not planned.
If that were so
You would have no choice.

It is through your choice that you abandon
one path for another.
Look for the Golden Thread that binds
all philosophies and religions together.

Seek the simple purity, with that you find
Profound Truth.

Given through the Eagle from Spirit of No Name
