MINISTERS CORNER

Revs. Ken and Kay
Leppell
I
am writing just a note to let you know that all is well at the Center. We had a
good time at the spiritual breakfast on the first Sunday of the month. Thanks to all our prayer chain members for
their prayers each week. We get to witness the miracles and listen to the
testimonies on Sundays. Last month, Rev. Marie White celebrated her 86th
birthday on the 23rd of April and still attends services and we are so blessed to have her with us. I wish
a very happy Mothers Day to all mothers, thanks for being you! I have this
message on my business card, which is most appropriate, “You are not here by
accident, but by Divine Order,” The affirmation for this month for me is: I am
open and free to receive, I welcome the unlimited blessing of God. I know
today, I have access to all the unlimited resources of the universe. I can
receive this unlimited supply through prayer. By opening my mind through
prayer, I connect with God’s Wisdom and can connect with creativity and explore
new ideas. Unlimited blessings await me and I can welcome God’s goodness into
my life. I am a spiritual being, as such I am ready to do all that is mine to
do. I trust God to be my guide throughout
every activity of my day. Know that I bless you dear ones, who support this
newsletter and your Center I honor you for what you have done for us. God is
blessing you all now. Your servant, Rev. Ken
May is here and it is actually warming up. I feel absolutely blessed to be doing the services this month. I invite those in the area to come to church and experience the love in this church in person. Explore the energy and warmth. We are excited about our ministry and our congregation. Things are happening here. Our young people are getting involved in the combo that will be playing for the first time on Mother’s Day on the 11th of May. They are meeting at our home on Saturdays at 1 pm. What fun that is! Thank you to Rev. Ken for his wonderful lessons in April. We have ordered Bibles for new church members who do not have one. Our new board members are quite pro-active and are excited to see our Center grow. We wish a Happy Birthday to Amanda-Kay Denney on May 10; and best wishes to all others with birthdays this month. Thank God for the prayers of healing that have been answered. Margaret Barbo and Roberta Gherkin are recovering from surgery. Let us remember this Memorial Day our veterans who gave their lives for our freedom. The Bible say, No greater love has man, when one lays down his life for his brother. God bless all of them. Let us nurture each other, leading by the example of Christ’s love for us all. Love in God’s service, Rev. Kay

God Himself does not
propose
to judge a man until he is dead. So why should you?
Some minds are like
concrete
thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.
POETRY CORNER
When God Planted His Garden
When the wise God planted His
garden,
scattering the seeds from above,
The choicest seed in His packet
Was the flower of Mother-love.
Carefully watched o'er and tended,
Nurtured by sunshine and shower,
Ever growing sturdy and stronger,
It blooms-a beautiful flower.
A flower so sweet and entrancing,
Dazzling and shining and white,
A love that guards us and guides us
Through life~our beacon light.
A love that steadies our footsteps,
That stretches a helpful hand,
That comforts our sorrows and heartaches,
That always will understand.
Mother-love, God's gift to His children,
With heavenly fragrance fraught;
The brightest flower in God's garden,
His truest forget-me-not.

No Fear Of Flying
Someday I will soar
Where only eagles dare to fly
My wings will span great distances
In a clear blue azure sky
So high above this worldly place
That Heaven's doors I'll see
And angel voices will start to carry me
Through skies ringing with sweet melody
For God has promised us this day
If His name we will revere
And I hold this promise in my heart
As I mount up with wings that shall have no fear.
