MINISTERS CORNER

Revs. Ken and Kay
Leppell
I
would like to take a moment to say a special thank you to all of you who have
supported the Center and this newsletter with your love gifts. You make it
possible to be able to continue this ministry with your generosity and your
abundance is manifesting right now. Let us all embrace the good God has for us.
We had our first annual church picnic in July, and everyone had a great time. I
would like to thank the kitchen angels and all of you who made things work.
This month, I will be doing the services. I will be sharing about healing and
how we make contact with Divine energy and how it flows throughout the body.
Affirmation: I center myself in the love of God and open my mind to inner peace.
My wish this month is for all of us to be free in spirit. I know that the way
for all to realize freedom is through spiritual liberation. Prayer is the key
that unlocks the door to the trueness of our Soul. Free in spirit, we develop
new sight and view of our world –new in newer ways. I see beyond all seeming
limitations and value others and us, as creations of God-who are all fee in
spirit. Today I pray for the well being of all who desire greater freedom and
to their realization of the ways it can become their reality. I know that I can
plant the seeds of freedom in your heart through prayer and reap a harvest of
caring that enriches our relationship. Know that we at the Center are deeply
grateful for all that has been given and all that is to come. I embrace the
good that God provides with joy and thanksgiving. Your servant, Rev. Ken
It is August already! I wish a Happy Birthday to everyone with a birthday in this wonderful month. Rev. Ken, Gus DeBock, Cora Deputy, Ken Feller, Jr., both Gail and Lloyd Leppell, Vicki Kauth, Leslie Lanksbury are just a few of the birthdays. Rev, Ken and I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary this month. Thank you for the wonderful attendance this last month. It has been a joyful time with family, and friends. Our congregation is blossoming. I see abundance manifesting in the lives of so many beautiful people. The Lord has blessed us with good health and a fellowship of like-minded people who want to share their joy with others. I give thanks for the continued presence of Rev. Marie. God bless each and everyone who has supported us with prayers and help with the newsletter ministry. I was graced to be able to officiate at a wedding last month. To be able to express my gratitude to the Lord, for this wonderful fulfilling life He has given me, requires words I do not have to perfectly convey the meaning. I know that He guides and directs me in my daily life. I ask and receive guidance when I slow down and listen for the answer from Him. Come to the Center and find out that you fit perfectly with us on this spiritual journey. Know that God is everywhere present, loving us, protecting us and guiding us with wisdom and mercy. We are praying for your arrival and have a spot that is just perfect for each of you. Let us know how we can reach out even more. Bible Study is on the horizon. It will be at 10 am before the Sunday service beginning in September.
Love in God’s service, Rev. Kay

POETRY CORNER
The U in JesUs
Before U were thought of- or time had begun,
God stuck U in the name of His Son.
And each time U pray, you'll see it's true,
You can't spell out JesUs and not include U.
You're a big part of His wonderful name,
For U, He was born; that's why He came.
And His great love for U is the reason he died.
It even takes U to spell crUcified.
Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand
He rose from the dead, with U in His plan?
The stones split away, the gold trUmpet blew,
And this word resUrrection is spelled with a U.
When JesUs left earth at His upward ascension,
There was one thing He just had to mention.
"Go into the world and tell them it's true
That I love them all - just like I love U."
So many great people are spelled with a U,
Don't they have a right to know JesUs too?
It all depends now on what U will do,
He'd like them to know,
But it all starts with U.

Let
Us Take Time
Let us take time every
morning
To turn to our God and
say
Thanks for another
restful night
And the dawn of a brand
new day.
Thank you for the
blessings and gifts
You’ve given us all
these years,
And for the times You
helped me through
Life’s many heartaches
and tears.
Thank you for this
beautiful world –
For the flowers, the
birds and the trees,
And for so many precious
children,
We thank you for all of
these.
Your blessings and gifts
outnumber, by far,
The stars that shine
above,
But the one we treasure
the most of all
Is your overwhelming
love!
