MINISTERS CORNER

Revs. Ken and Kay
Leppell
I
would like to thank you all for your prayers for the Center’s success. We had a
beautiful August and are looking forward to an even better September. In our
Board meeting, we decided to have a Kids Sunday and we’ll be letting our
children run the entire service, including the healing. How our church is
growing! We are also starting a Bible Study on Sunday mornings before the 11:00
am service. A special thank you to all of you who send love gifts to support
this newsletter. If it weren’t for you, it would be difficult to do this. Last
month, I did the Sunday services and we were directed towards empowerment,
belief and prosperity. God has been good to all of us. I know that affirming prayer
is a powerful way of acheiving my experiences in life. So many times, I never
considered possible like writing this letter each month. Know that every day I
bless you with loving thoughts and affirmative prayers. With each prayer we
pray, each feeling of gratitude to God, we open the way to bountiful blessings.
When I see the beauty of spirit in another person, it is easy to encourage them
to reach beyond their limitations and can achieve new heights. Through prayer,
I can accept the change in others and bless this life, I then can enjoy moving
out of my comfort zone and allow myself to think and act with greater wisdom
and meaning. Know that each of you are loved and needed in our ministry. We
know that God loves you and will see to all of your needs as He does ours.
Your servant, Rev. Ken
Back to school time is here! At our Board meeting, it was decided to have the youth of our church to prepare and give the message for the first Sunday in November, each year. I am excited for our young people to step forward and serve in this way. We are also starting our Bible Study on the first Sunday in September. Bring your Bibles and study with Marion Curtis. It will be a short meeting the first Sunday.
But bring paper and pencil and of course your Bibles. For those of in the Puget Sound area, September also means that our Western Washington State Fair will be starting. Over 60 acres of fairgrounds all bustling with exhibits, animal judging, 4-H-ers, and of course the midway, floral arts and fine arts, home canning etc. A gentle reminder that some of the best things are filled with a love of doing it ourselves – putting parts of our hearts into a project. It is that way with our faith in God and His fulfillment of His love for us. Our church is a reflection of using God’s gifts to praise Him and be the best we can be. It is an act of faith. Doing those things for the glory of God. If we put our love into action to follow God’s Word, our faith will sustain us in all aspects of our life. Our prosperity in health, relationships, finances and most importantly, our connection with God will flourish. God will bestow all these things and more upon us. Use your gifts for good and for God. Give Him the glory. Love in God’s service, Rev. Kay

What is the center verse in the Bible?
Answer - Psalms 118:8
Does this center verse say something significant about God's perfect
will for our lives?
The next time someone says they would like to find God's perfect
will For their life and that they want to be in the center of His will,
just send them to the center of His Word!
Psalms 118:8 "It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence
in man."
Now isn't it odd how all of this works out, or was God in the center of
it?
