MINISTERS CORNER

Revs. Ken and Kay
Leppell
Thank
you God for the month of October. The
fall colors are most beautiful and the children are back in school, and we
prepare ourselves for this most beautiful time. This is the time of Harvest and the children look forward to
Halloween. I am sure that we have fond memories of this time of year, so let us
enjoy the moment and make this the best October ever. I know that God is blessing us right now and what we do with his
blessings will better us in doing his work.
The Center is doing well and we are enjoying each other and helping the
community. A special thanks for all
that has been given in the Love Offering to help with our ministry. We have a small congregation but our love
for you is strong. Please keep the
prayer requests’ coming for that is our job to pray for each other and their
needs. “God’s loving spirit guides me in making right choices and taking right
actions.” I know that time spent
towards new ways of doing and thinking are perfect opportunities to trust
God. Then I move forward, drawing on
the resources give by Him as I need.
Now I trust God’s delightful surprises occur. I may expect one result and quite another is revealed to me. As I begin something new, I welcome it as
something that holds greater good for you and me. I welcome and participate in new opportunities for God. Each day I receive spiritual insight by
hearing what friends and family have to say.
By the act of listening, I am providing a person an opportunity to sort
through questions and discover the answers.
Know that you are that instrument of God’s ear also. You will know that your heart is open to the
wisdom of spirit. As we listen with our
hearts we are blessed and then in turn bless others. Know that we walk with you in God’s Love.
Your servant, Rev. Ken
October is here and so is Autumn! It is a magnificent time of year. The days grow shorter as we start to prepare for Winter. The plants and trees have new colors to wear. October has been a month of fun and great memories. Happy Birthday to everyone celebrating this month! Especially to Kayla-Ann, who turns 13 on the 11th. I wish to thank all of you for your prayers and healing thoughts. I have learned that relying on our Lord and trusting Him to put the doctors and healers in my life has given me a new level of peace of mind. Knowing that any health issues or concerns we have, are healed according to our cooperation and belief. Christ gave us the answer when he said, “Ask. in My name and it will be done according to thy belief,” nothing has changed-that still is the Truth. I know that if times are tough, all I have to do is ask and believe that healing has taken place. I thank God for good health and daily affirm my excellent health and well-being. When you feel as though you have reached the end of your rope-TIE A KNOT and do NOT let go of God’s hand. Trusting the Lord, believing His promise of “Lo, I AM with you always.” will bring you and I to a perfect finish in Christ. Come to church and experience the power of fulfillment in our Lord. Experience the love when you walk into the Center. We are family and so are you. Join us for a spiritual adventure and stick around for a marvelous spiritual journey. Love in God’s service, Rev. Kay

POETRY CORNER
He’s standing by me all the while;
He’d have me look to Him and smile,
To look away from doubt and fear,
And know that He is standing near.
And sometimes when the shadows fall,
I need to know that God is all;
No longer need I be afraid,
For Jesus is at hand to aid.
He’s standing by me all the time;
It matters not the hour or clime;
I cannot falter, cannot fail;
His love forever will prevail.
I’ll not complain, my lot bemoan;
I’ll ne’er again think I’m alone,
For Jesus stands at hand to cheer
And have me know He’s very near.
He’s standing by me night and day;
I sometimes think I hear Him say:
“Just lean on Me and have no fear
And some good blessing will appear;
Just lift your thought to Me and know
That nought but Truth can e’er be so.”
I always feel that I can try
When
I know Jesus is near by.
He’s Standing by Me All the While
