MINISTER’S CORNER
July!
Know that this letter is written out of love. The Center is going through
another change. We have had some members leave and others have come to take
their place. Our Center is to open the spiritual eyes of our members and to
bless them as they continue their journey with us or away from us. Our roses
and flower garden is beautiful. Thank you for the seed money: you truly have
made this possible. We have been able to cut the newsletter by 30%, due to our
survey and thanks to email. Know that your love gifts to the Center keep the
newsletter going and becomes a part of your prosperity. I know that prayer is
answered as I write this letter. I feel the spirit of your prayers; for that I
am thankful. I am in the presence of God – wherever I am. We welcome others
into our lives – friends and co-workers. I am inspired by Divine guidance as I
realize that we have much to teach one another to learn from each other. Please
send us your thought by email or regular mail. In relationships that are
founded on an understanding of our Sacredness, we give and receive in a Spirit
of Oneness. Know that you are life, love and creativity in full expression.
Because you are a creation of God, there is a purpose for me in
God’s world. I thank you all for giving our Center and me – purpose.
Your
servant, Rev. Ken Leppell
Happy Fourth of July!
The summer is upon us. There always are so many activities during this great time of the year. Don’t forget the Church campout on July 10 – 12th. We will be having church services on Sunday at the campout. I am looking forward to a great time with as many of you as possible. Come join us! The area we are going to have the campout is breathtaking. There will be plenty of activities for everyone. Make sure to note that the rest of the church services in July will be held at our regular place of worship. On the 4th of July, let us give thanks for this wonderful country of ours. This place where we are allowed so many freedoms, guaranteed by the lives of so many who fought to keep us free. Let us not stay in apathy thinking that we do not count. Standing up for what we believe is the only way to continue our freedom. One person can make a difference. We start at home in our own communities. If you want change then get involved. Don’t just sit and complain. Do something! Almost everyone had a voice to speak out…use it!
When I was still in the workplace – It had a little sign at my desk. It said, “When a person says, ‘somebody has to do something, remember you are somebody’.
In all of your adventures during the summer and the rest of the year, invite God to be present. Remember, He is the best Companion we can have. Invite Him into your life and experience the greatest love ever. If I am conscious of God’s presence, each step I take will be directed and guided. God bless all of you.
Love in God’s service, Rev. Kay

POETRY CORNER
God Shows His Love In Many Ways
When hearts are heavy and hope grows dim,
Tears may fill our eyes,
But today’s sorrow could be
A blessing in disguise.
We cannot know what lies ahead,
But we serve a loving God,
And we always find beside us
His footprints in the sod.
There are no limitations
On what our God can do,
And He does not turn away
When earthly friends are few.
When we come into His presence,
True healing can begin,
For he will send a comforter
To make us whole again!
God show His love in many ways
To all who call His name.
He dries our tears and warms our hearts
And makes us glad me came!
