MINISTER’S CORNER

Here it is, March already.  I look forward to see my world awaken.  The spring flowers push their heads up and things start to wake from their winter sleep.  I send out a Happy Birthday out to all of you that have a birthday this month, especially my sister Norma.  Special thanks to all of you that write us and send e-mail that support this ministry.  Thanks for the love offerings sent for the mailing of this newsletter.

This month whenever I reach a crossroads, I am going to turn to God for guidance.  I know that this guidance may show up in a variety of forms, but I recognize it by the way that I feel through my body, mind and soul.  As I open my heart and listen, I can understand which direction to take, and I can move forward with confidence and joyful anticipation.  This month I will take time out for prayer and meditation for all of you.

Last month I was blessed by doing a special wedding ceremony at the church after the Sunday service.  A special congratulation to Bear & Colleen!  In the church, we bless and value everyone who enters the doors.  We practice patience, cooperation and respect and do all we can to create a haven where every family and member feels God’s spirit of love, grace and joy within our walls.  If you get a chance, write or e-mail us and know that we are all one.

 Rev. Ken Leppell

It is March, the beginning of Spring! Around here, we have flowers blooming and trees in bloom. My heart is overflowing with love. My hope lies within the promises of the Lord. When I pray, believing what Christ taught, all sorts of wonderful things happen. When I let go of a struggle with something and let God direct His plan, I am always the recipient of Divine Grace. Our God is truly an awesome God! By trusting Him to manage all our affairs, we open a highway of blessing. There is only one way not to receive and that is fear. By trusting God, we open our minds to receive all of the good that is ours to have by Divine Order. Living in His Word, prayer and meditation and a willingness to believe in Him is the way to be fulfilled.  Today, there is warmth in my soul because of Love; the over-whelming love of God and all of my family. “Be patient and wait upon the Lord!” When I try to insist on having the miracles at my time; I get nothing. Divine Order is always right and good. The words of the hymn, “It Took A Miracle”, this is His Love and Grace making me whole. Praise our awesome God! Happy Birthday to everyone who has a birthday in March! I know of a few in our Church: Rachel Denney, Andrew Phillips, Norma Corcoran, Gerald Cozad and another grandson, Patrick Kennedy. May you all walk in Love! Thanks to Rev. Ken for his lessons in February, and for all of the hard working angels in our church. It does take a praying congregation to keep our church vital!

Love in Christ,

Rev. Kay

POETRY CORNER

The Eternal Light

The God and heaven that we love

Shine everyday up above

He brings the sun he brings the light

He gives every breath of life

We follow him in worthy praise

And in return we live happy days

So follow him with all your might

And you will walk in the eternal light
